Joker Tape

Joker Tape is an offline-first alterations job book for tailors and alteration shops who run one named ticket rail at a time. It is built like a real shop counter—not a generic notes app—so every hem, take-in, and fitting stays visible until it is picked up. Cold start opens a fullscreen garment-tag rail: a horizontal strip of hanging paper-style tags for every open job. Each tag shows client name, garment type, alteration shorthand, promised-date chip, fee, and status ribbon (Dropped off, In progress, Fitting, Ready, or Picked up). Tap a tag to open the full ticket with pinned measurements, work notes, and stage controls you can advance in order. Create tickets fast with the new-ticket composer: client name, garment (trousers, jacket, dress, skirt, shirt, coat, other), alteration type, free-text pinned measurements, fee, drop-off date, and promised date. Alteration-type quick chips and a seed catalog (hem, waist take-in, sleeve shorten, zip replace, lining repair, taper, let-out, and more) speed everyday entry. Stay honest about the week ahead. The due-this-week filter highlights tags promised in the current calendar week with an urgency tint. The overdue pickups board lists Ready jobs past their promised date with a days-overdue badge so chase calls are obvious. Weekly takings roll up fees for tickets marked Picked up in the selected week, broken down by alteration type so the books stay clear. Find open or closed tickets by client name, open prior jobs for the same client, and keep an archive of completed pickups with date-range filter—restore or permanently clear old tickets when you are ready. Shop preferences cover default promised lead days, currency symbol for fees, rail sort (promised date, drop-off, or client), and an optional demo rail on first launch. Everything runs offline on the shop phone. Keep promised work on a visible hanging-tag rail so nothing due this week slips, overdue pickups surface immediately, and weekly takings by alteration type stay accurate.
