Didn’t expect any health related apps to have such an influence on my kids! When we go food shopping I give them a task to find the sweets with the green score. They have fun running around and snapping the packages they like and also helps them learn what products are healthier. Brilliant app!

Nice idea but until it uses barcodes and not just photos it makes too many mistakes. I took photo of Tesco free from cornflakes and it told me they contained gluten. On a closer look the app had picked up Tesco and cornflakes but had ignored free from.

In response to the makers defence of their app I reused it selecting my dietary preferences. The app selected products that I had indicated to avoid. If this app worked this would not have happened. Also as the parent of a child with severe food allergies I would be extremely concerned about the reliability of this app. Food manufacturers often change ingredients if they become more expensive, so I would be interested to know how often the ingredients are checked and the app updated?

Good app idea, however, doesn't match certain dietary needs. No option for "Cholesterol" when on a low cholesterol diet or High Sugar Items if diabetic. Good app to use even if it's limited to 4 main Supermarket chains, just wish it had more options so for now deleting
