★★★★★ The Yuka app is quick to provide product information. Scan the bar code, and this tells you about that food product. There are so many foods that are healthy and so many that fall considerably short. Yuka provides information you can trust. Not affiliate with any brands or outside influences. I use the Yuka app always when shopping.

★★★★★ Extremely helpful in making healthier choices! I learned so much about everyday food and how many junk ingredients are hidden in it

★★★★★ Excellent app! Very helpful when attempting to eat healthy and discover what chemical additives are in our food sources. This app also breaks down what those chemicals do and how they react to our bodies. Also, very useful to find healthy deodorants and personal care products. Don't go shopping without it! Great product. A huge thanks to the developers! I fully endorse this app.

★★☆☆☆ It's cool, but it's weird how it decides what is worse than other products. Cliff bars are considered good, but they have so much added sugar over other bars woth zero sugar, but they have saturated fat. I would just want to see the breakdown of determination of what is bad or not. Also weird that organic grass fed beef is only a 70. I like it overall as a guide, but not sure how accurate it all is.

★★☆☆☆ Organic butter isn't bad for you. Saturated fat is the best fat for you. It also claims tallow is poor as well as coconut oil

★★☆☆☆ The app is uneducated. The chemicals it says our toxic to have irrelevant studies to "back them up". Unless you yourself know about the chemicals used in food products, this app is just ignorance. Edit: Even with the development reply, my opinion hasn't changed. Many of the studies cited were conducted ~10 years ago on mice only. I even found somewhere the results were inconclusive, but the app insists it's a critically harmful ingredient.

★★☆☆☆ Outdated and disproven science is being used to rate products. A glaring example is how it rates MSG - the claims have been widely disproven for decades, and has racist origins. Yuka also does not consider dosage, which is fundamental to health science. Water can kill you in high doses. It can be useful if you are practicing "better safe than sorry", but the app spreads misinformation.
