Usually don't give five-star ratings after just downloading. But it took me less than 5 minutes to test. I had hackers keyboard for years & loved it. But unexpected keyboard is Hackers keyboard on steroids! The swipe feature that everyone is commenting on is not swiping between keys but actually swiping within each key for quick access to symbols or capitals. And, this unexpected keyboard has emoticons! Don't know why it won't capitalize first word in here, but does elsewhere

The app is good has all the features I need actually has key spacing and rounded corners customization but can u make it so features in other layouts doesn't turn off itself? For example when I go to other layout like greek symbols layout then turn on sup then go to us qwerty turns off itself also make option to disable borders other than that, still a great keyboard, also, please make shift ctrl delete or forward delete still delete a word it feels annoying breaking typing speed

This keyboard is overall the best. It has just one missing feature. If that feature gets added, no other keyboard could compete with it. It needs an autocorrection toggle and word suggestions like Gboard.

Yeah, "Unexpected" all right. Seems like a great idea, but overwhelming, bewildering, non-intuitive, radically different approach from any other keyboard I've tried. "Originally designed for programmers using Termux. Now perfect for everyday use." Yeah, not so much on that last part. I'll hang on to it for a while, maybe try again if I find a detailed manual. How the hell do I get a bullet point character? No auto-indent, just the character!?

Dictionary / autocorrect / word suggestions feature is poorly implemented. It only suggests the first word, then does nothing unless backspace pressed.

Plus: "Unexpected Keyboard" has all the buttons required for POSIX apps (such as function or arrow buttons). Minus: Since the last "update", does not follow the option to hide when physical keyboard is used (the software keyboard shows whenever you select some text box, which should not happen when physical keyboards are used).

Galaxy s25, this keyboard absolutely does not support swiping or predicting words in any way. No option to enable it.
