Your friend checked in today. Your friend missed 3 check-ins. It’s not real connection. That’s automated guilt management. A person shouldn’t need to fail a digital attendance system before someone remembers they exist. This is peak slop-tech. Real mental connection is noticing changes in someone’s voice. Real care is remembering to text them without an app forcing you. Real friendship is human instinct, not algorithmic reminders. Not an app to notify you to care about someone.
