K-factors by Netavent

This app is directed to ventilations technicians, commissioners and other ventilation professionals in need to commission air flow settings for products supplied by Netavent A/S.

• The app contains a complete database documenting all K factors for our standard product sizes for our airborn product range:
    – Supply and extract air products
    – Air diffusers and valves
    – Commissioning plenum boxes
    – Throttle and shut-off dampers
    – VAV-dampers
• K factors are stored for both current products and legacy product versions supplied during the last 20-years.
• The app offers a simple user-friendly interface with plain and coherent data presentation.
• Installed products are identified by the product label, containing product name, size and manufacturing date, consisting of manufacturing year and week, 4 digits (YY-WW).
• Calculation is easily done as the obtained K factor data is inserted in the calculation formula of the built-in calculator, enabling users to commission each product to the correct airflow setting.
• By using the correct K factor, the required air volume for individual rooms and facilities is always ensured.
• Calculation can be done from optional value: K factor, air flow (l/s alt. m3/h or air pressure (Pa).
• Product listings are adapted to simplify identification of our products and accessing the correct K factor regardless of whether it is a current or discontinued product version.
• The app can be used without the need for internet in order to accommodate frequently occuring conditions on construction sites.
• When launching the app, an automatic check is made to ensure that your device is updated with the latest K factors (requires internet).
• With the app it is possible to check and verify current airflow settings for already commissioned products in order to ensure continuous performance over time, e.g during maintenance.
• You can access maintenance documentation for current products (requires internet connection).
• The built-in calculator can additionally be used for 3rd party diffusers and dampers.
