KaiK’eye - Augmented game

This application will allow you to play « Star Hunters », the hybrid game that is neither a board game nor a video game but both at the same time!

It is a free « companion app » : to use it, you must own the game « Star Hunters », that can be purchased on the Play Store.
KaiK’eye and « Star Hunters » must be run on two distinct devices.

Thanks to this application, you control the video game by interacting with the game’s physical elements (board and pawns) : the board game comes to life!

For the magic to work, it’s simple:
1. Print the game’s board and pawns, get together with your friends or family and launch the « Star Hunters » video game;
2. Film the game board using the KaiK’eye application;
3. Play the game as you would play any traditional board game : roll a dice and move your pawn on the game board.

KaiK’eye is the eye of the game : by filming the game board, the application understands the actions you perform and pass them on to the video game:
- Move your pawn on the board to move your character on the screen;
- Rotate your pawn to aim at an opponent or to select and answer;
- Press on you pawn to perform an action.

Using KaiK’eye is very simple : the application uses augmented reality to provide you with the relevant information : you just have to follow the guide!
