Works great, if you know about locks. I have a good eye for decoding keys, so this isn't all that helpful to me. However, I see myself using this in the future for keys that aren't common. You do need to know what all those measurements mean, and if you aren't in the modern world, (ie if you are in North America) you will need to covert it to mil for any reference material to make sense. Otherwise, it has worked great for the test keys I have used. (would love to see in app conversations)

Very cool! Can you maybe make a feature that creates an STL file for a 3d printer with the bitting of the key? Sometimes store doesn't have the required blanks for example

I'm a Locksmith Apprentice. I thought this app would be good to use for rare keys and for customers to send photos to save gas. Tested it on an old GM B10 key and used the app. I know the metric system and blade height on a B10 is close to 6.5 mm. With that said I went through the painstaking process of trying to decode the B10 key. The application is giving me wildly inaccurate bitting depths. It's measuring a 0 cut on the key over 12 mm. I wouldn't trust this for code cutting. Waste of time imo.

To cumbersome, takes far longer than using a key guage, not that accurate compared to a guage too... Nice concept but "not ready for prime time" Definitely not an app I would keep.

Import pic is not working. Just returns a Grey screen with no options to do anything.
