Kidoo: Family Days Out

Kidoo is a free guide to things to do with children in Malta and Gozo.

Kidoo is an independent guide. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting for the Government of Malta, any local council or any public body. Listings are based on the official sources named at the end of this description and on venues' own websites; always check the official page before you go.

Where do you take a four-year-old on a rainy Tuesday? Which playground has shade in August? Will there be anywhere to park? That information is scattered across Facebook pages, separate websites and word of mouth. Kidoo gathers it in one place.

WHAT'S INSIDE

More than 270 places across 68 towns and villages, including:
• 120+ playgrounds and parks
• 50+ libraries with story time and children's sections
• 30 museums and heritage sites
• 25 soft play and indoor play centres
• 24 kid-friendly restaurants with play areas
• 20 nature trails and easy walks
• Beaches, farms, aquariums, theme parks, sports centres and craft workshops

New events every week, from story time at the local library to village festas, pantomimes, holiday camps and open farm days.

Every listing is checked by hand and tells you what you need before you set off: which ages it suits, what it costs, opening hours, whether you need to book, and what's there when you arrive — parking, toilets, baby changing, shade, buggy access, somewhere to eat. Listings link to the venue's or organiser's own website wherever there is one.

BUILT FOR THE WAY PARENTS PLAN

Tell Kidoo how old your children are and it puts the right things first.
• Filter by age, indoor or outdoor, free, or what's open right now
• Sort by what's nearest, or by what other families rate highest
• See everything on a map before you decide
• Check today's weather, with rainy-day ideas when you need them
• Save anywhere you want to come back to

NO ACCOUNT NEEDED

Everything works without signing in — search, filters, the map, saved places and your family profile. It all stays on your phone. Sign in only if you want your saved places on more than one device. There's no password: sign-in is through Apple or Google.

FREE, AND NO ADVERTS

Kidoo costs nothing. No adverts, no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, and we don't sell your data. Location is optional and only used to sort results by distance.

MALTA AND GOZO

Kidoo covers the whole country, Gozo included. If you're visiting, it works as a holiday planner just as well as it does for the school holidays.
