komoot - hike, bike & run

★★★★★ Great app for planning all sorts of routes. Can be tricky to force it to follow the route you want. But Komoot seems keen to improve I love the ability to see other routes in an area. Voice navigation great for cycling

★★☆☆☆ Odd interface to Plan my own Route. I don't know what to tap. Trying with start then it asks me for destination. But tapping on map changes start not the destination. I was expecting following way: tap on start, tap on waypoint 1, waypoint 2, waypoint 3 ... waypoint last, then tap on the destination. That's how competitor did it. The main reason why we (and a lot of people in our group) changed Komoot to something else. Waiting for guidance from developers. Still want to use it. Just don't know how

★★☆☆☆ It's ok, but when I edit my route I can't get rid of a preexisting route section, there's no way to remove it from my walk, this adds to the estimated distance to walk. Also, after finishing and checking the distance I covered it was at least double the actual distance I walked, this is probably not the app but my phones GPS, but I will check this with Geo Tracker and Google Maps to confirm as I'm not sure how the app actually uses my phones GPS. Reduced to 2 star, satellite maps are awful.

★★☆☆☆ Useless to spend money on downloading maps for offline use, since the route planning doesn't work without network.

★★☆☆☆ For simple tour planning is nice but planning multi day tours is horrible! It keeps creating day b, c,d out of nowhere and after trying to correct it and Save the plan, I reopen the app and then is all messed again! So annoying, it creates path and routes I didn't even made or invert the start A and end B. There has to be an option to delete those a, b,c, d days ...
