Pretty handy field guide. I'm a frequent visitor to Kruger and this comprehensive guide works week offline and online for keying out species using a combination of photos and identifying characteristics. Fairly intuitive, but you should spend an hour or two messing with it to see how it works. I've relied on Robert's and similar field guides and this seems faster and easier to use. Not sure the user base is quite large enough yet for the sightings map to be truly effective - give it a try!

Great app but unfortunately the field notes map, place name meanings, whats nearby, history notes, long term sightings, public sightings and the map disappeared with the last update which was very useful hence why I bought the app but now it's a separate app on it's own which you have to buy again, what is the guarantee if I buy it that it doesn't get split up in another app again which I'll have to buy... I would rather like a refund please!!

I thoroughly enjoyed this app, but it deleted all my checklists. I just started comparing visits to previous visits, and now all my data is lost. So sad 😞. But sure, app catalogue works nice.
