As an accomplished connoisseur in the field of digital entertainment involving the ascension of ladders, I can say with utmost confidence that Ladders! Is a milestone in the genre, the pièce de résistance of smartphone-based gaming, the standard in which all climbing-related games will inevitably be compared against. It is possibly the most revolutionary game involving ladders since Milton Bradley's 1943 masterpiece Snakes and Ladders. Any well-seasoned veteran of gaming would be doing themselves a disservice if they skipped out on this gem.

Warning to any new players, the purple ladders are bad news. No amount of coins would make it worth trying to shake off one of those purple psychos. Maybe if doing so gave you points... Edit: points have since been added for shaking off said psychos, nice job Ben.

One of my favorite games of 2019. No ads, no permissions, no microtransactions. Just $2 for an amazing, endless arcade game. Highly recommend taking Twitter or facebook off your home screen and playing this instead. The feeling of jumping up the rungs of the ladders and flinging yourself across the screen is great. The game just feels amazing. I can't believe how exciting this game makes it to see a new color of ladder show up. It all feels like the purest distillation of its core idea. 5 stars!
