No issues pairing my Costco OmniBreeze tower fan. Works first try

Read the reviews regarding the "troublesome", even "horrible" experience people were having using Handbook app to connect their OmniBreeze fan to their home Wi-Fi. So, I went into the setup process expecting the worst. Just the opposite happened. I followed the steps in the OmniBreeze manual and in the Handbook app, and in less than a minute, had my fan connected to my Wi-Fi and had complete wireless control of all fan functions. A minute later, had it completely connected to Alexa. All is good!

The app itself works well enough, but it does require frequent restarting and doesn't load in quick when it does. No ads, works, are compatible with home assistant, google home, and Alexa. However, I have noticed some odd interactions such as saying "set it to max" and google says that's unsupported, but I assume that's on Google's end for assuming max is always 10 and this fan has 5 levels.

Update (6 months after purchase, pairing finally was able to complete):
Alexa commands:
- turn on (name)
- turn off (name)
- set (name) to (1-5) //Fan speed
- set (name) to (1-12) hours //Sleep timer
- set (name) to Cancel //Cancels sleep timer
- start oscillation on (name)
- stop oscillation on (name)
- set (name) to [Normal, Natural, Sleep or Auto] //Style of Air Flow

Another junk app for Costco fans. I purchased 2 other Omnibreeze fans 2 yrs ago from Costco. What we found out the hard way is there is no dedicated app for them. The old models required the old app "Smart life" the revised fans require a newer app but the 2 apps don't talk to each other. I had to link them to my Google home account to use 1 app. Account creation was straightforward, so was connecting to Wi-Fi. I just don't appreciate the need for a 2nd app to control the same fan essentially.

App says it sends a Verity code to my email. It doesn't. (UPDATE: It showed 7 hours later, code good for 30 minutes.) No sign in without it. UPDATE2 Code sent only in daylight? Got it set up. Btw some text in the app is fine print light gray on white, always a sign of poor programming. Fan's remote has a mute for control beeps, it beeps WHEN you set the mute powering off brings back the beeps, so basically bad. The fan itself is ok, maybe a bit noisy at low speeds.500-CHARACTER LIMIT REACHED
