I enjoy using langua for spanish learning. Being a beginner they tall a bit fast for me, but it's still a great tool for learning and listening to Spanish.

I'm using this for Spanish, my first second language. The more you interact with it the better it gets. Ask it for a breakdown of what it just said, explain the construction of sentences, speak in colloquial Spanish, practice weak areas. Fantastic app.

Revisiting this after spending 3 months comparing it to the direct competition. Not only is Langua miles ahead, in terms of the quality of the AI, it's gotten way better just in the last few months. It's still not perfect, but it really is the best for conversation practice. I'm not convinced it's suitable for absolute beginners, but for lower intermediate and above, it's as close to speaking with a real tutor as you can possibly get. I can also confirm they honor the 30 money-back guarantee.

After each Chinese phrase it quicky says 'repeat that phrase' and I can't hear the end of the phrase that I'm supposed to say because it talks over it with that instruction. I can't find a way to stop it talking fast after what it wants me to learn and if I can't hear the end of the Chinese sentence I sadly can't learn. It also showed that I hadn't pronounced words correctly but the AI said 'great job' and moved on. I wanted an app to help me talk and work on tones but sadly this one isn't it.

It was down half of the time for a whole year, and they aren't allowed me to have a partial refund, so basically half of my money has be wasted. The AI was always explaining things incorrectly, it can't correct writing accurately and the flashcard system wasn't what I want as I want monolangle dictionary, and they relied on me they would be developed it to have monolangle dictionary, but finally they didn't make it before my subscription expired, so basically I was just talking to the AI.

I tried the app to learn Japanese. During the call session she asked me to say "Sayonara".... I wanted to test the app so I told her "Tiramisu" instead and the app told me that I pronounced it perfectly... I would understand it if the app would see it as "perfect" when I would say something similar but "TIRAMISU"??!! That's not acceptable...
