WHY LEARNERS CHOOSE LANGUA
★★★★★ "I LOVE Langua! I've been using it daily for months. The chat feature is fantastic - it feels like talking to a real, empathetic language partner who corrects me and suggests more advanced phrasing. It's pressure-free and I'm encouraged by how much I'm improving both my intermediate German and my more basic Italian. I taught French for 27 years and have learned Spanish on my own in recent years. This is a fantastic tool for practicing speaking." - Maria C.
★★★★★ "Langua's AI is very sophisticated and, so far at least, not at all robotic. The conversations feel authentic. The AI also provides very helpful feedback on each conversation that is immensely useful, and gives tips for improvement. Langua is invaluable for language learners like me who can't frequently visit the country where their target language is spoken." - Guy S.

Comments on Langua: AI language learning for Android
★★★★★Penny Warren· Oct 4, 2026
This is a really fun, comprehensive way to practice Spanish every day on your own time. It's not at all intimidating, and you get immediate feedback, so you don't keep reinforcing bad habits. I highly recommend it.
★★★★☆Jacqueline Lamb· Aug 26, 2026
I enjoy using langua for spanish learning. Being a beginner they tall a bit fast for me, but it's still a great tool for learning and listening to Spanish.
★★★★★Joan Smith· Aug 13, 2026
This app is similar to, but not quite the same, as talking with a real person. This, for me, is its selling point. The only way to get better at speaking another language is to practice speaking it. My language skills are poor, but the app is infinitely patient. It doesn't care how boring my conversation is, how long it takes me to think of a reply or how many mistakes I make. I can practice whenever I like without judgement. So I do!
★☆☆☆☆No Thankyou· May 31, 2026
The app crashes all the time. I wouldn't mind, but I paid the £219 for the full version. There is no way to send a report when the app glitches or crashes. So you just have to put up with it and try again another time. I wouldn't bother with the full version until it actually works. Good idea, not there yet. I feel like I have been overcharged, and I will not be renewing. Edit: now the app constantly changes thread halfway through a conversation or lesson. It is really buggy. I don't recommend.

I may bump this up later. Free version only gives you 7 minutes, and I spend half that time asking it to do something differently. AI speech patterns are weak at best. Miles behind Chat GPT. It mumbles through '____' underlines meant to be blanks. It also explains lessons and asks questions in the language I'm trying to learn, so I have no idea what it's talking about. And, it's expensive. IMO, it's not trained well enough and the interface isn't good enough to be twice the cost of Duolingo.
