Im so stupid to know how can I start this app i don't know how to start my lessons 👹👹

The app is great but sometimes it glitches. I'm using to learn Thai and occasionally the sentences change im the speech recognition section and im some instances it doesn't recognize some words. This also gets worse when the Internet connection is weak.

I wanted to start Japanese on pingo because everyone has been recommending it, but I can't start unless I pay? I don't get why I need to pay to speak confidently, I guess I'll just learn on my own instead of paying money for an app in order to learn and speak properly and confidently.
