TV Box Tools is a launcher manager and ADB toolbox for Android TV and Google TV boxes. It sets which app opens when you press HOME, keeps it there after reboots, and gives you the everyday box jobs in a guided wizard. Free, no account, no root, one-tap undo — the stock launcher stays installed.

Most of them hold the HOME button through an accessibility service, and the system switches it off — a restart, an update, a cleaner app, Play Protect — so HOME opens the stock launcher again. TV Box Tools does the durable thing: it sets your launcher as the HOME app with a system command over the box's own debugging connection. No accessibility trick, nothing running in the background.

WHY DOES MY LAUNCHER RESET AFTER A REBOOT? Its accessibility service was switched off. Here HOME is a system default, and that is not.
CAN I GO BACK TO THE STOCK LAUNCHER? Yes, one tap. It is never uninstalled.
