Learn Pashto helps beginners and Pashto speakers learn and improve their Pashto, step by step. Each short session teaches something new, has you practise it, and brings it back for review at the right time, so you remember what you learn.

• Lessons: vocabulary and everyday phrases, organised into units

• Reading: short texts where you tap any highlighted word to see its meaning, plus comprehension questions
• Grammar: clear explanations with practice, including the five Pashto yā letters (ی ي ې ۍ ئ)
• Numbers: count and read numbers in Pashto

PRACTICE THAT FITS PASHTO
Exercises include choosing the meaning, listening, spelling words from letters, arranging sentences, matching pairs, fill in the blank, and recognising letter shapes. Pashto text is shown right to left, as it should be.

Already know some Pashto? A short placement test lets you skip what you know. Not interested in the alphabet yet? You can skip it and come back later.
