I'm a home school Grandma of a child with learning disabilities, she was not keen on trying another "thing" & it took her awhile to get used to the voice and prompting. She sometimes got frustrated if it heard her wrong and corrected her, but I let that be part of her learning. Kids need to learn to keep at it even when things aren't perfect. Readability allowed me to take a physical step away from her but still listen to her progress. I hope to use it again.

My youngest child who struggles with reading loves this app. It definitely is a game changer for my home. Only thing that does bug me is the microphone has a tendency to disconnect from the app halfway through a story.

It's great for my son. He actually likes it and was smiling reading the whole story And the questions. I only have one issue and that is that my son got stuck on one word and the AI did NOT catch that word. It kept saying my son read that word when he only sounded out the first 3 letters of the word. If I wasn't watching and listening my son would have read the whole story while just sounding out thos 3 letters Every time that word came up. Thank you for creating this,

I have paid for a subscription but cannot seem to get the app to load. I've closed, restarted and tried many times cannot even access one book!

Glitchiest App Ever Let me start by saying I was called into this program for my child who may be dyslexic. Once into our trial I learn it's all AI based. Now that we have started (3 of my kiddos) the AI system doesn't want to realize my kid is talking. Then it won't even take my voice. When trying to go to stories to read is always an error and can't load. Im up to date and everything. The tiniest internet signal drop, say 3 bars not 4, it can't load anything. I will move on, im done.

I do not recommend at all. Please look into other reading apps. Readability doesn't understand my son and doesn't work properly. It constantly asks him to repeat words, the AI is a mess. If you look at the other reviews this is a common problem. They charged me for an entire year but refuse any sort of refund even though it's only been a week past the trial period.

Be sure to use with your child, not only was it failing to pick up words my daughter was saying correctly but when she clicked for help it mispronounced several words. Like using the wrong "live" and saying thee instead of the etc. the app really struggles with heteronyms though, so you need to be close to correct the app when needed.
