A bit difficult to use at first. Does not have a number of led strips listed, so you have to guess which one to use. If you lose control of your LEDs, unplug the LEDs, reconnect to the controller in the app, pick the correct led strip in the app, then plug the LED strip back in. You can also lose control if the power supply isn't strong enough for the brightness level. Again, unplug the LED strip, reconnect to controller in the app, lower brightness, then plug the LEDs back in.

Installation smooth in manual mode. Reconnects easily and works fine on a busy 2.4G network. The customization via image file is genius and extremely flexible. I had no issues grabbing art from web pages, cropping and using. The 4 stars are because some functionality isn't implemented, like speed control of the image scroll rate (my biggest issue), and the app is like a decent app 80% of the way to being a great app. If you do a pro version I'll buy it in a second.

I bought two of the controllers to control 2 rooms. 1x15 mts and 1x20 mts. MAKE SURE you switch your Wi-Fi network to 2.4 ghz before setting up. This can be done if you use your browser on a laptop or smartphone and connect to Wi-Fi router. App finds controllers within minutes. Refresh the app screen after SP108E was found and connected. I recommend using the STA setting as then you can control the controller over Wi-Fi. After completing setup, go back to router and enable 5 ghz. Everything works fine for me. I installed the controllers inside cavity in ceiling, and it picks up Wi-Fi fine and connects every time. I think people just need to be patient if they are not technical. It's not plug and play. You need to set it up. I am using the following: Samsung Galaxy S9+, It can support WS2812B and WS2813, but there is no option on the setting page. Please choose WS2811 when connecting it to WS2812B and WS2813. My Wi-Fi provider is (UK) Virgin, and I am just using the HUB 3.0 router (no additional antenna or Wi-Fi booster). Hope it helps.

Constant "device is busy" error. No amount of rebooting, unplugging lights, reconnecting to Wi-Fi, etc. will fix it :(

I can see how well this app will function with compatable LEDs, although when I bought the controller off Amazon it stated it was compatable with WS2812B lights, even though the app doesn't give the option to use those specific lights. Not able to use the controller or app :/

Doesn't work with Wi-Fi. Phone has to become dedicated controller, meaning no internet while connected to lights. Tried all levels of Wi-Fi.

I Finally got it to connect to the device by telling Android to stay connected even though there is no Internet. If you don't allow it to access to your location, it doesn't respond, crashes and exits. Will be returning the controller, I shouldn't need to know my location.
