Love our lights! App is awesome. Definitely has more functionality than ill probably use, but has the basics that make it easy for me to use.

Very capable app and very user-friendly. After getting to play with the apps from other competitors, I'm happy I have Trim light on my home. I was able to create a Memorial Day pattern from the Trim light Community page on Facebook. When friends come over I hook music up to the controller and get all of our lights dancing. My kids all got to put their birthdays in and choose their favorite colors. If my 6-year-old can operate the lights with no direction, I consider that very user-friendly.

You can use this to program some really nice patterns and lighting options. I love the customization. The scheduling function does need a bit more work. It is not intuitive and new users have issues with it. I've had to explain it to other users. Since this is a big part of having this system/app, it should be the focus of functionality in the app. Other than this, I love it!

I am not really happy with this app at all. This system is good enough to give the user an indication of if the lights are on or not. The only way you can figure out if your lights are on is if the go and look or put a camera facing the house to tell. Have been digging through the app because the lights state the timer is set from 7 pm to 7 am come home at 5 pm they are on. This UI is not great and needs a serious update.

The App UX/UI needs work. It is counterintuitive. If you are the app develop try Vibe coding to get better layout. You should have schedules like every day/default that can be overlaid by holiday or custom schedules which have a start, date/timr, end date/time. If end date is "never" or null then it continues. Include repeat and frequency similar to scheduling a reoccurring meeting. On you have schedules you attach lighting themes like colors, count, patterns, and effects. Easier switching.
