Lensmera: Learn Manual Camera

Lensmera is a manual camera app that teaches you photography while you shoot — like learning on a real DSLR or mirrorless camera, core features work offline, no account.

Handed a stranger's phone and froze? With Lensmera every control is a small lesson — soon you're the one saying "here, let me take it".

Auto mode takes fine pictures, but never tells you why. Lensmera does: touch a control and the live view answers instantly, with a short tip on what just happened.

LEARN PHOTOGRAPHY AS YOU SHOOT
• Move a dial and watch brightness, motion and depth change live
• Friendly tips appear as you change settings, so the "why" sticks
• Shutter speed, ISO, aperture, metering, white balance, the exposure triangle
• Same terms and layout as a real camera — your skills transfer
• A step-by-step path from P to M, plus weekly photo challenges on your device

A REAL MANUAL CAMERA — SHUTTER, ISO, RAW
• P / A / S / M modes, like the mode dial on a real camera
• Manual shutter speed and ISO with live exposure preview
• White balance presets and fine control, manual focus with peaking
• Live histogram, clipping warnings, grid and level
• RAW (DNG) capture on supported devices
• Long exposure with 7 presets — silky water, light trails, fireworks, star trails

SHOOT AND EDIT VIDEO — WITH AUTO CAPTIONS
• Record with stabilization — off, standard or cinematic (supported devices)
• Video editor: trim, split, rotate, crop, 15 aspect ratios, 21 filters, volume, mirror
• Auto subtitles — speech recognition on your phone; edit captions, 3 styles, SRT import/export
• Text, stickers and photo overlays with timing control
• Background music with fade — or extract the sound as an audio file
• Combine videos and photos — per-clip speed, photo slides to 5 minutes
• Export up to 4K (where supported), H.264 or HEVC — save any frame as a photo

RECORDER, PLAYLISTS AND BACKGROUND PLAY
• Voice recorder keeps going in the background — progress in a notification
• Import audio, caption it on-device, or make a waveform audiogram video
• Playlists mixing video and audio — shuffle, repeat, mini player
• Listen with the screen off — background playback with lock screen controls
• Picture-in-picture keeps video playing in a floating window

FRIENDLY FROM THE FIRST TAP
• A pretty, welcoming home — start in easy auto, go pro when curious
• Selfie-ready with timer and grid, front and back cameras
• Photo booth strips and a full editor — crop, filters, text, mosaic, background blur or swap, long-legs effect
• AI edits — magic eraser, subject cut-out, colorization, AI depth blur
• ID and passport photos — 15 presets, custom mm sizes, 300dpi print sheet
• Gentle beauty — skin smoothing while you shoot, face touch-up in the editor
• No watermark on your photos, no sign-up walls

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• Core features work offline — no account, no cloud; optional AI tools download their model once, never your photos
• Photos, videos, recordings and faces never leave your phone
• Full EXIF — view and edit every tag; edits save as a new copy
• Location in photos only if you turn it on (off by default)

WHY LENSMERA
Most camera apps never teach you photography. Lensmera is built the other way around: every control is a small lesson, and the live preview is your teacher — one clean, private app.

Phone lenses have a fixed aperture — the live depth-of-field preview is simulated and honestly labeled as such.
