lialo offers you free or low-cost app-guided city tours throughout Germany, similar to a scavenger hunt or city rally, where you follow clues and solve puzzles with your smartphone to discover hidden details in wonderful places and their history.

And if you know something that others can discover, you can easily create your own lialo tour, e.g. as a puzzle tour or city rally and send others on a discovery. For your family, your friends or a child's birthday party, for example.
lialo is short for "Like a Local". The tours are all created by locals with great attention to detail and an eye for what is special. On the tours, which run like a city game or a scavenger hunt, you can discover a city or the neighbourhood at your own pace. More up to date and contemporary than any printed travel guide. *** David Bowie's Berlin - LP Version (Berlin) *** This tour is a real walk on the wild side and shows Berlin through David Bowie's eyes and ears. Discover the Berlin of the 70's and 80's in an audiovisual tour of original locations. One of Bowie's longest companions, the legendary musician Lou Reed, accompanies him through the city. He shows places where David lived, loved, partied, shopped or "hung out". The places where he wrote songs, recorded and played concerts. You can see beautiful facades and middle-class neighbourhoods. But also dark, dirty backyards and then, as now, adventurous places.
