Absolutely amazing game with fun story and fun spear throwing and other stuff. It is the perfect difficulty, and everything looks and feels great. And extra, extra quadruple mega awesome is the soundtrack. I may be way off but I love making music with modular synths and in particular I love my Mutable Instruments modules like plaits which this sounds like. If my favorite module was used to make the music to one of my favorite games im going to overload :)

Good game, until you reach "das sea serpent", where instead of fighting the boss you have to fight the awkward controls. I keep losing again and again because the aiming gets so awkward and unresponsive when you have to shoot different heights and directions. To be honest I am not sure how this could have passed play testing, as it is extremely frustrating and doesn't feel like a fair loss.

The fun goes downhill as soon as you equip power ups as their activation gesture takes over the ability to throw the spear. It’s baffling. A core mechanic gets hijacked by optional abilities, making progression pure frustration. What could’ve been a great game gets ruined by its own upgrades. Docked 4 stars as this issue seems to be reported by many for years and there's still no action taken on this.

The game is well-made, and it's fun to play. However, the controls aren't very good on mobile. The more powers you unlock, the harder the game gets, and about 4 levels in I'm finding it nearly impossible to just fire the default shots without accidentally triggering something else.
