Description
LightControl is an application for controlling your Philips Hue lighting system. It provides quick manual controls over the single light or a group as well as presets.
You can write an NFC tag and to execute a Preset with it.
LightControl is designed around the separation of bulbs/groups and colors/moods/color temperature so that any bulb/group can be used with any color/mood/color temperature.
Click on the group name and it will open a new view only with the bulbs in this group.
In the current version you can create a presets with bulb-mood pairs. So with one click you can set your entire home lights.
When you want to change the lights based on time mood, multiple presets can be executed at the same time if they don't have bulbs in common. If bulb in common exist the last activated preset will be the active one.
Support of the schedules supplied by Philips Hue and stored on the bridge.
Multiple themes in the program, so you can select between light and dark look.
In the free version you can control up to 5 lights. If you need more you can unlock it from the menu as an in-app purchase.
Enable the automatic updates so you can get all new features when they are released!

Great Dimming speed of lights is now faster but still slightly slower than the Philips app. Just needs a good widget to be a five star app. (Just a simple and small on/off and dimming widget like the Hue Pro app). Regardless, this is the best hue control app in the android market.

The *ONLY* useful hue app None of the other apps on the market actually support bridge-side groups/alarms which makes them absolutely useless for me... If you know how the lights actually work, you realize that faking groups on the client side and sending a bunch of individual REST commands (one per light) looks (and is) really stupid. This app can CRUD groups properly, which by itself makes it worth it. I just wish it were more obvious that you needed to pay to unlock "using more than five lights". T_T

Livingwhites Although it can detect the livingwhites bulbs it seems to be unable to control them. I tried a simple swotch on and off and it failed

I should have just used the free version. Paid upgrades don't work! I downloaded the free app. It looks great. So I paid for the available upgrades Every time I tried to create a preset, it failed. I asked the developer for help but was ignored. 2 stars because the free version is good but limited without the paid upgrades.

Lights dont appear is list for me Each if the lights/groups/schedules screens are empty after connecting to the bridge. Only option is turning all the lights on and off, which works. Tried find new lights function that didn't work either. Galaxy S3.
