It could be 5 stars. But the number of stores which accepts payments using the Barcode or QR Code scan is extremely limited. They have the Line Pay card, but it still less convenient than paying with the barcode, since we're always carrying our smartphones in our hands. The app allows screenshots and the Max Brightness is activated only if you tap to enlarge the bar code. It should be activated at the barcode main page with the smaller Barcode and the QR code too, right after opening the App...

It's a great payment app system. It's not a widely accepted as the others but the interface and UX is good. It lost a lot of the vendors that used to give you line points which is why it lost a star

Useless. KYC system is broken. I have submitted my Residence card, My number Card, Japanese driver's License multiple times, still can't verify me. Deleted the app and my credit card details. KYC is needed to send money overseas. Bank or PayPal is better and more secure. Be careful using Line Pay.

Why does the fingerprint operation cancel every time I open the app to pay? Then I have to press ok, then "use fingerprint" for it to work. Really hurts the convenience of this app I use an Asus Rog Phone 2

Can't make ANY payments with my LINE pay account now. I'm not allowed to transfer ANY funds from my Japan Post bank account!
