I like the variety of articles, although some of the links don't work unless you register on the linked site. That is unfortunate. I would like to see more content daily. Sometimes the sane articles are on for more than one day.

UPDATE - Smart News is now the closest app to the old pulse (before linkedIn ruined it) The new design ruins the key functionality of Pulse. I now use Play Newsstand by Google, which is very similar to the old Pulse categorical aggregation - but with more modernity and a pretty GUI.

I'm just saying what I think. Right before LinkedIn purchased Pulse, this app was at it's best form with room to grow. LinkedIn did a smart thing and then an horrendous thing for app development by making a good business deal and then ruining a perfectly good aggregation app. Right NOW in 2017, this app can regain rule in its category IF some time is seriously spent evaluating user input (LinkedIn are you even noticing how many legacy users are STILL pining for you to bring something AS GOOD as the original app back? Even though we don't like or use this current app?) and the reasons that made Pulse work so well with everything before its time. ...Making the LinkedIn account an optional requirement (I didn't say you couldn't make it a little more enticing with nice LinkedIn-features) would be a good start.
