ON-DEVICE MODELS
Download a supported model in Model Manager and start chatting without sending your conversation to a server. On-device models work offline after download. Speed and memory use depend on your phone's processor and available RAM.
CLOUD MODELS
Connect OpenAI-compatible providers such as OpenRouter, OpenCode Zen and Go, NVIDIA NIM, Groq, Together AI, DeepSeek, Mistral, LM Studio, Ollama, OpenAI, xAI, Cerebras, Fireworks AI, Perplexity or your own custom endpoint. Load the provider's model list, filter by provider and choose the model that fits the task. Responses are streamed token by token.

PRIVACY AND BACKUP
LiteChat does not run its own chat servers. On-device conversations stay on your phone. If you sign in with Google, your chat backup and provider settings can be stored in your own Google Drive app data. API keys are kept on your device and in that private backup. Cloud requests are sent directly to the provider you choose, and that provider's terms and privacy policy apply.
REQUIREMENTS
Android 12 or newer. Internet is required for cloud models, model downloads and Drive backup. Local models require free storage and sufficient memory. Cloud providers may require a paid account or credits.
LiteChat gives you control over where your AI models run and where your data is stored.
