This app requires you, or someone you know, to host a free Audio bookshelf server. It replaces the original free client (also on Play Store), and in my opinion beats the original in every way. This is one of the two best 3rd party clients, and IMO is better than the original client due to startup time when the server is idle.

This app is not ready to be used as a daily driver. It doesn't support playback of titles that need to be transcoded, and even reset my progress for a title it couldn't play back. Also, finding new titles in my library to listen to is more difficult than it needs to be owing to a clumsy sorting and filtering configuration method.
