Comments on Localphone International Calls for Android

Actually works fine. Before downloading it, I read many negatives here and there. But after using it for a couple of days, I found it's not bad at all. The quality of call is alright, and the customer service replies fast too.

Installed on my Galaxy Note 8. No issues on installing. New update is better 👍. Moved to 5 star from 2 star from previous review below: Previous review in 2016: "I have tried a thousand times to install it on my cell. It is Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+. All the other apps (bigger and smaller) sizes install on my phone but this one only!!!"

Cheapest international calling around, fixed my issue.

Super expensive, they say you get a free call to test but every number I tried was "too expensive to use your free call"
★☆☆☆☆Pablo Barroero· Oct 12, 2025
It does not work. You follow all the steps to make your first free call, and it says you don't have credit. Then it gives you a local number to verify your phone number that asks for a pin you are not given. The whole experience is quite broken, and it was impossible for me to gain enough trust to add my credit card knowing this won't work.

I was using this service for almost 8 years with all it's good and bad, but recently they made change to app that you can't log out also can't use Wi-Fi only data making it difficult to use almost goodbye from a loyal customer.

Scammers took my balance of $20 and won't reply to my emails. For $20 you expect to become rich?
