I think this deserves 5 stars even if it's not the kind of counter you think you need... I'll admit it isn't what you want for most jobs. But in a way it does what nothing else does... And does it good enough to keep the app. If you need a counter off-screen like this it's a no-brainer

No customization. Wanted an app to quickly keep counting without opening my phone. Can't set a button shortcut (you have to hit the power button to access and navigate the lock screen every time) and every time you hit the + on the counter the phone vibrates (no option to turn this off). Bzzz.... bzzz.... bzzz.... don't bother downloading.
