Description

Lockpicker is a lockpicking puzzle game inspired by the classic RPG Gothic and at the same time a handy solver for the lock minigame in Gothic 1 Remake.

Slide each plate left or right to bring every pin into the light of the central hole. Plates can be linked, move one and another moves with it, and links can be one-way, which turns a simple lock into a real brain-teaser. Every move counts: the fewer moves, the better.

GAME MODES
- Campaign: 300 handcrafted locks across three chapters of rising difficulty.
- Ranked Puzzles: single puzzles with an ELO rating, how high can you climb?
- Daily Task: one tougher puzzle every day, keep your streak alive.
- Endless: locks that keep growing, how far can you go?
- Puzzle Rush: solve as many locks as you can, against the clock or until your first mistake.

PLAY ONLINE
- Ranked duels against players from around the world.
- Online Puzzle Rush, head-to-head.
- Global leaderboards, friends and player search.
- Play ranked even as a guest, no account needed to start.

LOCK SOLVER (for the real game)
Stuck on a chest in Gothic 1 Remake? Recreate the lock in the app, set the rows, the pin positions and the links, and the solver gives you a safe order of moves so no pin falls off the edge. Includes a clear 2D view and an optional 3D view.

It's really a nice implementation of the puzzle, with a few nitpicks. 1) The order of pins is confusing, they are ordered from the bottom. 2) The solver doesn't account for 2D mode, and shows steps for plates. 3) It's practically impossible to get 3 stars on the first try, because you can only figure out connections by making extra steps, or showing them, which costs you a star. Sure, you can just try them all, and then restart, but that feels like cheating.
