The app is designed for participants in the accompanying research of the "Klimaticket Österreich" and can only be used with a registration code.
If you have not yet registered for the accompanying research and are interested in doing so as a ticket holder, you can find more information here: https://infas.at/klimaticket-app
In consideration of data privacy and in your interest, registration is only possible after your consent to the entire accompanying research. As a thank you, you can participate in the incentive program.

Logbuch Klimaticket is used to easily record your trips with the Klimaticket. The app automatically determines the means of transport used and calculates the number of trips, the trip length and average speed traveled. Based on this, we calculate the carbon footprint and make the information available in the statistics area. The information is used to learn more about the use of the climate ticket. In this way, the offer can be further improved so that the Klimaticket is a success.

Just to give an update on the performance: The app now works perfectly. I don't know why I had troubles preciously. Maybe it was caused by disabling the notifications, but I am not sure about that. After new installation of the app I have now the notifications, which are very clear for me, and the logs are correct. The app also shows interesting statistics.

I am not willing to have an app running all the time in the background recording my location and physical activity. If I want to log my travels using my climate ticket, I can simply do a spreadsheet for that 🤷

The app needs to run in the background 24/7 and keeps track of your every move. However, it isn't even accurate and shows tracks that just didn't take place (i.e. car ride) and you can't correct them manually. So what's the point?!
