Right off the bat the app tells you that it is using auto-translation software and speech-to-text, and requires users to report any issues with it. How would someone trying to learn a language know what is properly translated or spoken wrong? It seems like it would be detrimental to learning, regardless of if it follows any sort of "proven method" in its teaching style.
