Description

board game played by the ancient Romans of which few descriptions have survived. The rules have been imagined based on the information found. The game consists of a king and pawns.
The King and pawns move horizontally and vertically without being able to jump over other pieces. Capture conditions: A pawn is captured if it is surrounded on two opposite sides by the opponent. If the pawn is in the corner, it is captured by occupying the two free sides. Additionally a lance of 3 pieces in a row capture next opponent, this rules makes the game more strategic.

For what it's worth it's fun. The ui needs an overhaul as well as the AI (it can fall into traps easily). But it shows this ancient classic nicely, and if you're a first-time dev, please make more like this, it's fun.

Addictive. But the easy enemy is too easy, the hard is impossible, and is the screen goes blank, the game glitches, and you have to start over, which is a problem, if you play against the hard enemy.

The dev suddenly decided to "overhaul" the game. They removed the 12x8 board that made for the most interesting games in favor of a 6x6 board (why), replaced the plain but functional and intuitive programmer art with fugly and janky ai bs, and they made the very poorly-optimised hard difficulty AI even worse (but they removed the loading bar that at least told you how long you have to wait...)
