M2IAB Orbit Jumper

Space is not a shooting gallery — it is a set of rails, and the rails are gravity.

M2IAB Orbit Jumper is a deterministic orbital-combat roguelike. The simulation runs at a fixed 60 Hz with every celestial body riding real Kepler orbits. Getting anywhere means finding a transfer and hitching a ride; burning in a straight line just wastes what you are carrying.

Every run starts at level 1. Rank is bounty-weighted combat score, level comes from this run alone, and death is a true reset — skill points, rank and installed gear all go down with the hull. Only your material stash and career records survive to the next launch.

Wreckage pays twice. Debris streams to the nearest ship on its own and yields both a crafting element and salvage credits. Credits patch the hull; elements feed the forge: shields want titanium and ice, drives iron and carbon, and graviton tech the uranium and aetherite that only radioactive worlds and raider wrecks ever supply. Crafting a tier costs its recipe plus skill points, and the vessel panel shows exactly what you can afford.

Weapons are earned, not issued. An uninstalled system shows no controls at all — no laser, no missiles, no gravity wells, no shield nova until you build them.

Real space, at its real size. Ships are metres long beside planets and suns thousands of kilometres across, or play CLASSIC if you prefer the old look. Four zoom scales sit over the camera pad: SHIP, SYSTEM with every orbit traced, and the GALAXY and UNIVERSE jump maps. Brown dwarfs, white dwarfs, red giants and binary stars fill the sky, and stars act like stars: black holes tear by tide, neutron stars pulse, red dwarfs flare after a warning, and a blue giant can go supernova.

Study the stars. Surveying suns teaches stellar metallurgy: insights unlock forging techniques, kills pay the experience to learn them, and the rarest techniques hide behind the deadliest stars.

Everything you see is generated. Planetoids are displaced icospheres, ships are greebled procedurally, the sun is a single shader running storm-warped noise, and every sound is synthesized offline and embedded in the binary. There are no art assets in this game.
