Comments on Macadam, The Step Counter. for Android

★★★★★ Jacqui Van Boolen · Sep 14, 2026

Macadam is a great app and easy to use. I love the fact I'm earning money while I'm walking anyway.

★★★★★ Sammi Roy · Sep 18, 2026

Keeps me motivated to walk even if I forget to claim my steps lol

★★★★★ Mrs Haley Callahan · Sep 8, 2026

Great app for keeping track of my steps definitely would recommend even though I haven't been able to get rewards yet on the app im trying to save up alot of coins

★★★★☆ James Turner · Sep 12, 2026

This app is really good for traking your steps and gives rewards for some you do what I do wish is that it shows the current exchange rate for how many steps you get for walking into coins. But also when I click the ads option in settings nothing happens at all, I also wish hat there more ways to get coins and more ways to get crowns as currently I haven't found a way except the slots, and I don't really like doing that. There are some intrusive ads, so I wish where was an option to have less.

★☆☆☆☆ Benjamin Roy · Sep 29, 2026

You can get paid for walking but goals take an extremely long time. I used to cash out once a month. Now apparently in order to cash out you have to set an alarm and be within a minute of the cash-out offer opening on a specific date, or you will not be able to cash out even if you have the required number of coins to do so. Reach out to support, and they'll tell you that slots fill quickly and try your luck next time. Cash out not guaranteed. Just a raffle at this point. Don't bother.

★☆☆☆☆ Joseph Vanucchi · Sep 14, 2026

Between walking the dog and my land Surveying job I get at least 13k steps, but it's usually in the 20-30 thousand range. EDIT 2 TO 1 STARS-ok this is insane, this app reminds me of that Rick and Morty episode with the microverse. Well, if my walking is powering a car battery somewhere you'll have to give me more. This app is INSULTING. Instead of Macadam, on your walk pick up 3–4 cans. That 15–20 cents is probably on par w Macadam, might as well help the environment instead of Rick's car 😀
