READ THIS IF YOU STRUGGLE WITH APP PAIRING WITH SPEAKER: Follow this to the letter: - Unpair your phone from the speaker; don't simply disconnect it - Uninstall Free Play Connect - Completely power off your phone, then turn it on - Reinstall Free Play Connect - Pair your phone to the speaker using your phone's Bluetooth settings - Launch the app; it should find the Free Play Live Great App but hard to find the speaker + shame there is no other type of reverb available or EFX.

App can't find speakers despite Bluetooth being connected to the speaker on phone! Useless

We've had a Free play Home for a while, and it worked well as a BT speaker (Android & iPhone). I recently installed the app after seeing screenshots implying there was an equalizer. The app can't find the speaker (says "Searching" forever), but will connect using your phone BT. However, there is no equalizer (just 2 headings : Bluetooth and About). The app version is 1.01 from 2023, a sign Mackie is not serious. I was going to get a 2nd one (stereo), but will probably switch to something else.

Cannot connect Bluetooth to my android phone (samsung note 5). I am shocked to spend money for Mackie free play live but couldn't use these apps to control volume and EQ. Please fix this.
