I like the app itself I have two jbl eon 715s the apps works great it told me to update my jbls firmware update once that was done it told me to hit confirm I did when it was finish it showed a red info mark on my jbl app I restarted the app, and it was gone so just to let you know u got some little glitches

A good app which complements the onscreen display. I use a combination of the app to load snapshots, control the AFS, change EQ and FX etc., then revert to the onboard mixer for more immediate control - mute, volume etc. The communication can be a little glitchy or slow e.g. sometimes you mute a channel on the app but the channel light on the mixer itself doesn't reflect the change. But there are always changes and updates being pushed down to fix most bugs.

Update May 29, 2024 - after a few years, the firmware and app have improved very nicely. I am glad I held on to it since 2021. I have two of them, and two of my friends finally got them. Of course there are still things to improve, but the 5 star is for the JBL team commitment to quickly improve the app, making the product a joy to use.

Brilliant I have no complaints sometimes I might have to force close the app or adjust the crossover for my sub on the speaker itself because the app doesn't have HPF settings for the speakers output. But other than that its great and just works like its suppose to.

Bought brand-new eon 712 for tops and eon 718 subs. Every time I try to connect to sub it says needs to update but fails to update every time even though fresh installation of the app and brand-new speaker needs update! Every time I try to connect to the tops it says connection failed I follow step-by-step directions, and it will not connect. I can connect to one top 712 without using this app directly from device and play music but cannot connect to it through the app even after resetting to factory

Major issue with TWS on my JBL Eon715 mains after the latest firmware update to 6.2.9.0 The volume levels between the two mains is way off (one is way louder than the other) and the volume control from my phone Bluetooth is only halfway up and the speakers are distorted. Whereas prior to the update, I could take my phone Bluetooth volume to close to 85% and there was zero problem with volume levels between the two speakers when using TWS. DO BETTER JBL!!!
