Yes it works very well and allows me to connect my speakers. But most of the time it shuts off when I'm sleeping, and I don't wake up to music. Or it doesn't. But I still would.

Come on, JBL, I know this is a problem Android have given you, but for the sake of your users fix it now! This app uses Bluetooth Low Energy to scan and control the speaker. BLE requires location permissions to work. Android removes permissions from apps which have not been used recently. Removal of the location permission from the JBL app causes it to stall on search for speakers, saying "This app only works with JBL Compact One". Better written apps ask for renewal of their permissions!
