I had my doubts, but it definitely works as advertised. Not only is it nice to get rid of the throttle lag of my car, but the added layer of security is a nice touch too.

When tapping on the device to enter the pass code, the app immediately closes the keyboard and the device temporarily goes offline for a second before showing back up. Happens repeatedly, and I'm unable to connect my phone to the device. The little remote the controller comes with still works but I'd love to actually use the app to change modes.
