The latest edition is better than ever The latest update (Ver. 1.53) is better than ever, with more tile sets and more backgrounds. With its terrific HD graphics, it's without a doubt the best mah-jongg game I've found for a mobile phone. In fact, I wish the developer would consider publishing a full desktop edition of the game. The newest edition offers even more pleasures, and the paid edition removes the ads. Now, if only there were an option for making it always at least possible to win. John Puccio Classical Candor

I just purchased this game and expected that what I choose for settings should actually function. I particularly cannot tolerate music when playing mahjong and subsequently set Sound to OFF. (as well as other settings). However, I am horrified to find the sound keeps glaringly loud at full volume!! None of the other settings are honored either. I expect a refund.

I recently had to uninstall as it was running in the background and draining the battery. It used to be a fun game but hasn't been updated for years, I don't think it's optimized for newer devices.
