It's good... needs push notifications... when a colleague or the admin makes changes to the schedule - all parties involved should be given push notifications appropriately. Example... someone puts a shift up to be covered - a push should be given to all on the app to see. The same for any change on the schedule. This would make the function of the app/program much more relevant. Otherwise, it's a beauty.

Corporate head office pushed this hard on my workplace. Schedules were *only* sent out using makeshift. I can't recommend this approach. Less than a third of the employees have ever been able to log in to makeshift, "problem with application, try again later", changes to the schedule do not sync up between people's devices, managers do not receive time-off requests, and trying to communicate within the app is so unreliable that it's pointless. It's been a half year and nothing has been fixed.

Update: App has for some time told me I am not connected to a network. It's frustrating and not true. Issues from original review continue. Does not make seeing your day-to-day shift hour's easy, does not highlight current day in an easy to spot way. Has no dark mode. Finding out who is working that day takes 3 taps when it could be displayed on the main page. Over all, it's worse than Google calendar and has a very poor design.
