Markdown Editor & .md Reader

Markdown Editor & .md Reader is an offline Markdown editor and MD file viewer for Android. Open any .md file from your file manager, browser, email or chat app, read it with a clean formatted preview, or write notes and documentation with live preview, LaTeX math and Mermaid diagrams. Edit files right where they live, in Downloads or an Obsidian vault, without making copies. No account, no cloud, no sign-in: your files stay on your device.

OPEN AND READ .MD FILES
- Open .md and .markdown files straight from other apps with "Open with" or "Share"

- Tap a checkbox in the preview to tick it off; the file is saved right away
- Syntax highlighting for code blocks
- LaTeX math formulas, inline and as blocks
- Mermaid diagrams: flowcharts, sequence diagrams and more
- Table of contents, find in document and reading progress
- Comfortable reading: text size, serif font, sepia or black background, text width
