Markdown Viewer MD File Reader

Markdown viewer and markdown editor in one app.
Find and manage md files anywhere in your device storage, read them with tables, code and math rendered correctly, then edit and save them in place.

📄 The cleanest markdown viewer — tables, code and math, done right.

MdViewer gathers the .md files on your device and renders them as crisply as on desktop. Open documents written in Obsidian, Typora or on GitHub, then search, highlight and edit — all in one free app.

━━━ Markdown viewer features ━━━

📁 Manage md files anywhere on your device — core feature
Pick any folder in your device storage — an Obsidian or Typora vault, your Download folder, a folder synced by another app — and see every .md file in it, subfolders included, in one list with a per-folder document count. Open, edit and save in place, create new notes, rename them and move them between folders. Images and [[wiki-linked]] notes a document references by relative path open too. Pull to refresh to stay in sync.
※ For this, MdViewer asks for the "All files access" permission on Android 11 and later. Files are read and written on your device only; the app never uploads them.

📄 Full markdown rendering
Headings, lists, quotes, tables, task lists, code syntax highlighting (Kotlin, Python, JSON…), math (LaTeX — inline $..$ and block $$..$$), images and wiki links [[name]].
