Task Forge is honestly one of the coolest task apps I’ve used for Obsidian 😭🔥 Gave it vaults access and suddenly all my markdown tasks started showing automatically in Inbox. This makes a great addition to use with Obsidian to manage tasks across your vault. This app is a great way to add task notification on your phone as Obsidian doesn't provide that functionality natively. There are a number of options to customize how your tasks are displayed in the app, which is super useful. The widget is useful as well for quickly looking at your list and being able to mark off tasks quickly. I consider this an essential companion to Obsidian and well worth the premium cost.

It's awkward to have to open obsidian and wait for it to sync up or down when I want to manage tasks on the run. I love task notes and the interface for this is wonderful and well done. So well done that I paid for the lifetime subscription and cancelled my ticktock subscription in my exuberance. I have since gone back to ticktock because it feels to rough to have to focus on getting my tasks in sync every time I think of something to add or finish something and want to transition to the next.

Unfortunately, permissions are too broad. On first use, "Allow access to manage all files" I'd only like to allow access to the vault directory, that I specify. I'd love to try this app out one day!
