I love it. It as become very useful for day to day note-taking. It makes it possible to take notes fast, while not compromising on the structure of the notes (easy to create links to other notes, create table, separators ...) mainly due to using Markdown as a basis, but also due to their intuitive and responsive app (it's fast). There's a lot of useful plugins made by the community as well. I also use it to capture my 2AM thoughts efficiently.

The best option for note-taking I know. I love the fact that I can just take the files I made with obsidian and transfer them over then input them in the app even though I didn't use any sort of drop box or whatever, it just works!

I like Obsidian for desktop, but the mobile version defaults to editing view even though I have it set to reading view as default in settings. As soon as I scroll down in a note, it switches to editing view. I tried disabling add-ons but that didn't help. It makes it difficult to use with tables and code blocks. I really want to give these 5 stars, but I don't even use the mobile version because of this. Please fix or let me know what I am doing wrong, and I will update my rating.

Very powerful. Perhaps a bit clunky on phones. Temporarily subtracting two stars because of a new and FRUSTRATING bug: scrolling in reading mode keeps causing it to switch to editing mode. It's awful. EDIT (response to developer): It's that the double tap is too sensitive now. The issue occurs when I place my thumb for a second time, to continue scrolling (or to scroll faster). Imagine a note that is multiple phone screens long, and that someone wishes to scroll through it quickly.

The idea behind Obsidian is genuinely interesting. The graph view and bidirectional linking feel fresh at first. But in reality, the app is so overengineered that it completely fails to justify its own complexity. To actually get it working the way you want, you have to sink hours into reading guides, tweaking settings, hunting down community plugins, and learning syntax that only exists inside Obsidian. Interesting idea is buried under so much unnecessary friction that it’s just not worth it.

Subscribed for the Obsidian sync, it won't sync in background. And will only sync single vault until switched to another vault in UI
