Excellent "no-BS" notepad with organization tools (both basic & advanced). OPEN FORMAT: Simple folder-tree entry organization, and.MD files are just .TXT files associated with Obsidian; you can easily export your data, use in any text editor, drop files in as new entries, etc. Also, available for desktop systems. I use KDE Connect to quickly move new notes between my phone & PC, either via file transfer or Clipboard sharing. (Private and/or shared encrypted Cloud service is a paid premium.)

Poor replacement for onenote. You have to pay up front for a year with no trial. Then when you do that it still has no ability to send emails to it like onenote has. The interface is ugly, and it struggles to keep the structure of imported onenote notes. I used it for about 3 hours then requested a refund. However, the refund process fails.

Somehow it got even worse. From 5 to 3 to 2 to 1 star... 😮‍💨 Same issue - text editing, text highlighting, text tapping, whatever. When I want to move text around this app... Obsidian just breaks! Deletes paragraphs, stop highlighting additional words, stop selecting additional words, reset to one word... On desktop - no problems, pure 5/5. On mobile - even changing keyboard doesn't help! I'm just tired. Tired of caring about this wonderful app. Terrible editing functionality!

Subscribed for the Obsidian sync, it won't sync in background. And will only sync single vault until switched to another vault in UI

Super buggy, impossible to select text longer than one screen. The selection would revert or the copy button disappear. No proper reading mode; if you click, it goes to edit mode. Disappointing.
