My experience has been great. I have been reading through the reviews, and they are a lot of user errors and provider issues. The issues I am reading about are not subject to these apps interface or apps design, and it's unfair of people to blame Max UC for problems that are not their problem. That like if you got in a car accident then blamed the policemen for you crashing your car. Max UC has no control over user errors or provider errors.

I use the application for management of my office phone and connection to my mobile phone. I rate Nextiva and Voyage as slightly superior with regard to contact management. Call quality is solid, and the texting capabilities are clunky but effective.

The app will not wake up the phone to ring. There are also small delays during many of the phone calls, which can make it hard to not accidentally start talking over someone.

Since the last update for Android 14 on my android 14 phone this app is taking MASSIVE amounts of battery life. If you let android optimize it the app stops working.

Constantly get error unable to call out due to service issue. No audio queue when calls end. Bluetooth device switches on It's own all the time. Received calls after ring one then drop ending in missed calls. App has a terrible notification pane, so if you minimize max UC to reference other apps on the phone while calling it is very difficult to get back to the app to end a call or check if a call was ended (because there is no hangup beep or tone!)

I've had this app for 2 years, and it no longer plays a specific ring for calls that come through AND each call is labeled as 'potential spam'. Not sure why the app no longer overrides my caller ID. I can't tell the difference between my personal calls and MaX UC calls, unless I physically open the app. The app & my landline (office number) ring at the same time, which is what I wanted but this app fails me when I'm not in the office... Not worth the $15 monthly fee. Samsung Galaxy S21, Verizon.
