I'm amazed how well this app works. After setting up my MPD server, I tried a different Android app. I chose that app because it had over 50K downloads. For some reason, it kept causing the MPD daemon to fail. I was about to give up on the entire project. But I decided to try a different client and chose Maximum MPD. I'm so happy I did! It just worked "out of the box" and it's got some great features! If the authors ever offer a "pro" or paid version, I'll definitely buy it!

Clean and functional interface. It'd be nice to be able to have an 'Album Artist' tab in place of the 'Artist' tab when browsing for music.

Doesn't work on android 13 or14 due to requirement to swipe left to connect...which closes the app in these android releases
