I actually just got the subscription for myself alone. When the first kit came, the hydraulic lift model, I honestly got booted aside by one of my roommates, so he could take over and put it together. Lol. I'm excited to see what the next kit's experiment is going to be!!

I've had two different phones and a tablet and can't get the app to work. It's just a purple screen every time.

Still doesn't seem to work. Have tried 2 different types of Android operating systems. Loads up but then just a purple screen on both. Cleared the cache, reinstalled and still nothing

It is upsetting enough that the literature lacks the explanation for the basic scientific principle being studied, instead saying that, to get this information, you have to use the Mel kids app. But, when you couple that with a garbage app that can't even access the camera (not like a permissions issue, either. The camera page just loads a completely black image and hangs, ) the entire venture becomes unbearable. I'm very disappointed that I need a broken app to access what should be in the book.
