Description
The Member Tools app provides members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with the ability to contact ward and stake members, access event calendars, and locate Church meetinghouses and temples. Leaders can also access additional membership information and reports.
•Messages. View messages with important updates or actions needed. •Directory. View contact information and photos of members in your ward and stake. •Organizations. View ward and stake callings by organization. •Calendar. View event calendars for your ward and stake. •Reports. Ward and stake leaders can access membership reports for members of their ward and stake. •Manage Records. Bishops, branch presidents, and clerks can move records and record ordinances. •Lists. Create custom lists of members in your ward and stake. •Missionary. Access contact information for the full-time missionaries assigned to and serving from your ward or stake. •Temples. View your assigned temple, temples nearest your current location, ordinance schedules, and temple recommend expiration reminders. •Meetinghouses. Find meetinghouse locations and addresses, sacrament meeting times, and contact information for bishops. •Finance. Organization presidencies can submit payment requests.

For those that have problems with syncing, go to the settings and near the bottom you will see refresh data. This will fix the sync problem. I get the sync problem often. Nearly everyone in ward council now does this

Had to uninstall the app, then reinstall it, and now it says there is an error and member tools in unavailable.

I, too am in a new Ward and Stake. Trying to use Member Tools I get the message that it is not available. Have called the Help Desk, received an email, which I replied to. No way to update the Program (App). Have Uninstaller and reinstalled this App over Four (4) times now. Please provide members with a way to be on the phone with the Member Tools Help Desk, rather than the main Help Desk, and hopefully get a positive result, so we can use the App.

Worked well until Ward changed. When I attempt to log in now the app needs to sync with the new Ward details. It gets to the end of the sync then pops an error stating "Member Tools Services are unavailable. Please try again later." This has been happening for the past three days trying to sync data. Have tried on and off Wi-Fi and get the same message every time. Followed the instructions below right after receiving the notice. No response received after emailing support. App still not synced

Anytime I ask for an authentic code or a code sent to email the code screen closes making me continually have to put in my credentials just to continue the cycle, code sent, switch to other app, code screen closes, switch back to app and enter credentials again, send code again.
